Virginia Mountain Stone -
Our Signature Stones from our own harvesting operations. A variety of color
ranges, textures, sizes and shapes. Applications are limited only by your
imagination and creativity! Make our stone uniquely yours.
Tumbling Creek Sandstone - Buff to Grays, Gold, Iron Ore Orange, Dark
Rust to some Black. Sandy texture, some flat surfaces for flagging, capping,
steps, etc. Rustic profile. Primarily a blocky building stone and boulder.
Available in 1"-2" Veneer, 3"-5" Building Stone, Stepping Stones, Natural Step
Treads, Slabs, and Boulder. In application at our STORE: Landscape
retaining walls and steps leading to front of porch, sales office fireplace, and
sales counter.
Laurel Bed - Tans, Brown Rust, Olive Green undertones, Deep Purple, Some
Red. Smooth texture. Rustic Profile. Some square edges. Available in 1"-2"
Veneer, 3"-5" Building Stone, Sizeable Water Feature Pieces.
Weathered Ridge - Deep Browns, Deep Purples, Weathered Grays, Some
Red. Smooth texture, Rustic Profile. Some Square edges. Available in 1"-2"
Veneer, 3"-5" Building Stone, Occasional slab piece for Hearth/ Mantle.
Cliff Field Ledge - Weathered Grays to White, Some Browns, Some Purple,

Deep Purples, Some Reds, Black Pepper. Smooth/Dimply Texture. Smooth
Rustic Profile. Some Blocky but Rounded Edges. Occasional moss and lichen.
Available in 3"-5" Building Stone,1 man to 6 ton Boulders, Natural Steps, and
Thick Slabs. In application at our STORE: Front of building facade and the
cylindrical columns, the Rock Structure, and in our landscape near highway.
Saddle Creek Tennessee Stone -
Tans, Chocolate Browns, Rust, Iron Ore Orange, Black. Flat Surfaces. Flat
Profile. Minimal Natural Cleft. Sandy-smooth texture. Easy to manipulate
(Sawn, Shape, Snap) Sorted and Packed by thickness and/or application.
This stone runs the gamut from set or dry-bed Flagging, to veneer and
stacked wall, to specialty pieces for steps, mantels, hearths, and countertops.
Available in: Flagging and Wall veneer thicknesses: 3/4" and Less, 3/4" to 1
1/2", 1 1/2" - 2 1/2"; Ruble; Rustic Pavers; Rustic Square Cut Pattern; Natural
Broken Steps; Sawn Stair Treads; Large Natural Slabs; Wall Stone; Sawn

Pennsylvania Bluestone-
Blue/Gray, Some Olive Green and Brown Undertones. Hard Sandstone with
Sandy Texture, Square Edges, Primarily Flat Surfaces with some Natural Cleft.
Colonial Wallstone - 1 1/2" - 3" Thick. Great stone for Stacked Veneer
Fireplace or Dry-stacked retaining wall. Outdoor Stair Risers, Fire Pit
Surround. Possible to be used as Flagging or Full-faced wall veneer.
Premium Slabs - Accent or complete your flagging project with these large
slabs. 1"- 1 1/2" is the perfect thickness to cover existing poured concrete, to
bed on firmly packed cinders, or to use individually as Stair Landings, Stepping
Stones, Gas Grill Pad, etc. The nature of this stone lends itself to be a solution
for specialty cut pieces for Hearthstones, Capstones, Stair Treads, etc.
Pattern Cut and Stair Treads - Special Bluestone items may be ordered but
may not be stocked regularly on our yard. These may include Select Blue and
Full-Color Pattern Cut Flooring, Capstones, Thermal Treads, Hearthstones,

Bear Cove North Carolina Stone-
A Layered Schist material with Smooth Texture, Rustic Profile, and Sharp
Edges. The mineral Mica gives this stone a constant sheen.(Great for
enhancing a water feature installation or adding some reflective sparkle to a
neighboring flame of firelight). Stock Colors: Chocolate Gray; Rustic; Green
River; Mountain Mist; and, Golden Flint.
The 1"-1 1/2" Veneer is used extensively throughout all climates of North
Carolina. The 1 1/2" - 2 1/2" Stepping Stones have good square edges for
Hearths, Sidewalks, Pathways, etc. And, perfect for Dry-Bed Patio installation.
*Note: When veneering or flagging, take extra care to ensure mortar seals all
edges of the stones to help prevent Frost/Thaw Pop-Off.
